The Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH would like to invite all interested and eligible local suppliers to submit technical proposals, financial offers and warranties for the supply, transportation, installation and training in building electrical installation and fence works.

Eligible local suppliers interested in the GIZ Office proposal for supplying the items with the required services are invited to submit their financial offers, technical specifications and warranties separately with zipped folder via email to ET_Goods_Quotation@giz.de  by mentioning the reference number (7000002542 and 7000002544) on the subject line of the email. The technical offer must not include any price information, and both the technical and financial offers should be submitted as PDF documents separately.

Special conditions and instructions:

• Bidders should submit their bid documents only through email.
• The price offer must be submitted in EUR and specified according to the price sheet.
• The Order will also be concluded in EUR. However, payment will be made in ETB using the applicable bank exchange rate during payment.
• Suppliers must attach a renewed business license, TIN and VAT registrations.
• Supplier must have a legal invoice.
• The supplier must clearly indicate whether the price offer is before or after VAT.
• The price offer must be prepared using the price sheet template provided in the tender document.
• Technical specifications should be detailed descriptions of the items. The supplier shall provide a detailed description of material to be provided at a later stage if an order is placed. Legal documents/business licenses will not be considered as technical specifications.
• If the supplier fails to deliver within the specified days, GIZ-Office has the right to cancel the order. GIZ has the right to claim damages.
• The delivery and installation places are at the specified sites as described in the Terms of Reference (ToR).
• Supplier should present a document of Certificate of Origin (If the items are imported from abroad) for the Items to be purchased. In the absence of such document the supplier must fill in the attached self-declaration format.
• The offer might be rejected or disqualified:

1. 1. if technical specifications and financial offers are not submitted separately,
   2. if the reference number is not indicated on the subject line of the email.
   3. if legal documents/licenses are submitted as technical specifications.
   4. If the offer presented is incomplete, which signifies that it fails to encompass all the items that are included within a single lot.

• Please consider general purchase conditions attached for your offer preparation.
• The offer should be submitted in the language of the tender documents.
• The valid date of your offer should be 60 days.
• Payment will be settled after delivery and installation of the items upon presentation of valid invoice.
