Submission Instructions:

1. Electronic Submission:

Eligible local suppliers interested in the GIZ Office proposal for supplying the item are invited to submit their financial offers and technical specifications separately with zip folder via email to ET_Goods_Quotation@giz.de  with mentioning the reference number 7000001165 on the subject of the email. The technical offer must not include any price information, and both the technical and financial offers should be submitted as PDF documents separately.

Special conditions and instructions:

• Financial offer currency must be submitted only in EURO
• The Order will also be concluded in EUR. However, payment will be made in ETB using the applicable bank exchange rate during payment.
• Supplier must attach a valid TIN, VAT and a current renewed business license.
• Supplier must have a legal invoice.
• You must carefully look and fill in the necessary information requested of all annexes.
• Suppliers should present a document of Certificate of Origin for the items to be purchased. Those suppliers who can’t provide Certificate of Origin, the attached self- declaration form must be filled out.
• Supplier must clearly indicate whether the price offer is before or after 15% VAT.
• Technical specifications should be detailed descriptions of the items. Legal Documents/ business licenses will not be considered as technical specifications.
• The offer might be rejected or disqualified:
  a) if technical specifications and financial offers are not submitted separately,
  b) if the reference number is not indicated on the folder and
  c) if legal documents/licenses are submitted as technical specifications.
• Expected delivery time should be 10 working days after official order is given. If the supplier fails to deliver within the specified days, GIZ-Office has the right to cancel/ terminate the order.
• The delivery place of the item will be at GIZ project office.
• Please consider general purchase conditions attached for your offer preparation.
• The offer should be submitted in the language of the tender documents.
• For financial offers, use the provided price sheet form.
• The valid date of your offer should be 60 days.
• All electronically submitted offers must be PDF format
• Payment will be settled after the work is completed and presentation of valid invoice.
• GIZ office has the right to cancel the tender fully or partially.
