REQUEST FOR EXPRESSION OF INTEREST (EOI)

Rehabilitation and New Construction of Football Fields at EFF Academy in 
Addis Ababa

The Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH is currently implementing the project, Sport for Development in Africa. As part of this project GIZ intends to award a contract for Rehabilitation and New Construction of Football Fields in Addis Ababa

The scope of work includes:

•  Rehabilitation of the existing Field
•  Construction of New Football Fields

Tender procedure from invitation to tender until signing of contract is expected to take place between 20 January 2023 and 20 March 2023. Construction work is expected to be performed and completed approximately within 8 (eight) months from signing of contract.

To qualify for consideration in the tender procedure, interested companies are required to submit the following information and documents for eligibility assessment:

1. Official letter expressing interest
2. Company details including full company name, full address, phone and email
3. Copy of company registration certificate
4. Copy of renewed license for the current fiscal year, Taxpayer registration certificate, VAT registration certificate, main registration, and Tax clearance.
5. Company profile including number of employees (permanent / temporary in total) and number of professional staff qualified to perform the works,
6. References of works of similar nature as specified above (performed within the last three (3) years)
7. Total value of works of similar nature as specified above,
8. Annual total turnover for each of the last three (3) years
9. Evidence of ownership of equipment and machinery necessary to execute the works or evidence of possibility to hire the same

The information and documents specified above shall be submitted to GIZ in hard copy in a sealed envelope on 06 February 2023 by 10:30 pm at the latest to the following address:
