Introduction

The International Committee of the Red Cross is an independent, neutral organization ensuring humanitarian protection and assistance for victims of war and other situations of violence. Within the framework of its assistance program in Ethiopia, International Committee of The Red Cross (ICRC), would like to rent the below types of cars, very good condition for six  months with the possibility of an extension

It shall remain your responsibility to ensure that your quotation will reach the address above on or before the deadline.  Quotations that are received after the deadline indicated above, for whatever reason, shall not be considered for evaluation. 1. ANTICIPATED PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE  

The anticipated period of performance for this scope is from 01st February 2021 up to 30 July 2021, with a possible annual extension.

Detail of the program will be shared to you when the date approaching. But in general, the departure date and arrival date are shown below.

Service required date Monday up to Friday

Location different part of the town (within Addis Ababa)

Departure time morning 1.00 am from different pick point. A drop of point after the work of the day 5.00 PM.

4. PRICE OFFER

Quotations in response to this RFQ must be priced on a fixed-price, all-inclusive basis, including driver, fuel, services & maintenance costs and all other costs.

Pricing must be presented in ETB. Offers must remain valid for not less than 90 calendar days after the offer deadline.

Offerors are requested to provide quotations on official letterhead or format.

Organizations responding to this RFQ are requested to submit a copy of their official registration or business license.

5. TERMS & CONDITIONS

a)   The company must be officially registered to provide the service required in the invitation letter

b)   The company shall have a sufficient fleet of cars if the demand for more than the required car at the same time (please provide us with the number of vehicles available at the company).

c)   The company must be able to meet our requests within a maximum of 24 hours from the date of the request

d)   Please provide us with previous contracts with other organizations and institutions for the purposes of access and evaluation, if available

e)   The technical condition of the cars must be excellent, knowing that we are entitled to request a change the car if it does not match our needs

f)    Vehicles must be equipped with all the usual safety tools (first aid kit and manual fire extinguisher)

g)   The company should be ready to provide roadside emergency servicing and replace the car with another car in case of need.

h)   Drivers should preferably be good in English and to be more cooperative with the ICRC staff at any time

Submission date of the offer is on or before January 20/2021
